Message: <blockquote data-quote="The Bell Tolls for Thee" data-source="post: 131819577" data-attributes="member: 1812660"><p>Jets certainly didn't help him, but that is not the primary reason he is not a starting NFL QB.  He physically was capable, but his decision making wasn't the best.  Maybe that has changed, but I think his ceiling is being a quality back-up.  Worked well for Hostetler and Nick Foles who both have SB rings.  Fitzpatrick pretty much made an entire career of this.  So Geno is likely to get 6-8 games to keep the Seahawks in the playoff hunt and that's a valuable thing.  He didn't look bad against the Rams and I agree his pick wasn't egregious.  That being said, the Rams were not prepared for him and now that teams know he is going to be the starter, they will look at old film to find out what weaknesses he may still have.  They will also analyze the new tape as it comes out and plan accordingly.</p></blockquote><p></p>
