From what I read, he will be a great Punter and Kick Off Specialist. Field goals - maybe. I also know that we may get a Walk On that would be a good Kicker from Texas. Let's hope he takes the offer!

Logan Cooke, kicker/punter, 6-5, 200, Kokomo, Miss. (Columbia Academy)
Scouting report from safeties coach Tony Hughes: “Extremely athletic for a punter/kicker. He’s got great height. He plays basketball, probably averages 20 points a game, played wide receiver for his high school, just an all-around good athlete that has a lot of potential. Coach Mullen offered him in camp and we think that we’re getting a great kicker/punter for the future.”

Considering need, a decent FG kicker (75%) is worth about as much as a legitimate 5* recruit to us. Our kicking is that bad, and the kicking game is that important.

I don't think he's a FG guy..but if he can kick it out of the endzone consistently that could certainly shore up one area of concern on special teams which would be huge.
