just saw George Ashton of Sherando score his first TD at Pitt. I also think it's the first time they've handed him the ball, if the Pitt Wbsite is right.

Regardless, with about four yards to go, he tossed the Penn defender aside like a rag doll and punched it in the end zone. So typical Ashton. And the kid was always strong but just looking at him, you can see he's spent a LOT of time in the weight room. Very proud he reps VA well. And I was one who didn't think this was his level. Wrong again.

Also a pleasure to be watching Briar Woods Trace McSorely playing QB for Penn State. 2 VA guys making significant contributions in the same game.

Smiling the whole way.

It's Aston, and George scored a couple of TD's last year also. I am sure appreciates your compliments. George was the first kid in high school I ever saw squat 650 pounds. And that was a box squat.

Announcers dream. Never had to see his # to know it was him. Could tell just by the way he ran over people and dragged people for several extra yards.

Didn't say he didn't score TD's last year. According to last year's record, he caught 7 passes. 2 for TD's.

Today is just the 1st time he ever ran the ball. Perhaps we'll see more of this. GL to him.

McSoreley is a heck of a player for Penn State and Aston a heck of a player for Pitt. Exciting to watch!
