Not sure that he'd be my first choice, but we could most definitely do worse. I'll have to go back and look at his results from the last 4-5 years, but for some reason, I feel like playoff collapses are somewhat common for him which would be a little concerning.
Grizz could use some offense. Nuggets need some defense.
Maybe it works out. I don't know. I just think that after you had the best season in franchise history, you'd try a little harder to keep the coach that helped build it.
Why would the Nuggets not extend the contract of the NBA Coach of the Year?
Hell, if I was Jim Buss I'd fire D'Antoni on the the spot and go after Karl (unless Phil Jackson wanted to come back of course). Karl is a great coach and he deserves to win an NBA title at some point but the teams he usually takes over are rebuilding projects. The Grizzlies would be a big chance for him since they have so many good pieces in place.

I don't know if Karl is the right choice for the job. All his teams that I remember have been finesse, offensive-minded teams. The roster isn't built for that. Not saying Karl can't coach that way, but it just doesn't feel right.
