Someone told me today that they are going to build a new stadium to replace the Georgia Dome. Haven't heard that before. True/False?? Anyone know?

Google it. Its been discussed here already a few weeks ago. Falcons have made a proposal on a new state of the art facility. Just in the stages of working on where and who will build it. Its likely going to happen.

Arthur Blank the owner of the Falcons has been lobbying for a new stadium for the past couple of years. Finally threatened to move the team out of the city to get the powers that be to move on it. They decided to build earlier this year and it has been somewhat controversial as it will be quite expensive and the GA dome is just 20 years old.
