Don't get me wrong, he's a winner. But he mainly does it by getting really good talent and teaching them to not make mistakes. He runs a very vanilla scheme and does not take risks. He's a great coach, because he wins, but I think it's hard for his assistants because most people don't have the single-minded dedication that Saban does with no regard to human life. Most people can't pull that off. They will want to go for a risky 4th down every now and then and they want to cut a player some slack for a mistake. Saban doesn't do that crap.
