No team in college football does less with more than Georgia.

I'd argue that LSU is in that category.

Richt did a poor job at the end if the game. Down by 5 with 5 min left, you kick the FG. And he didn't get the ball to his best player on either 4th down at the end.

LSU has won 10+ games 4 years in a row in the SEC West, and 7 of the last 9. That's pretty close to top-10 status every year.

Richt didn't drop all those passes the final 3 drives, although I agree that it ultimately falls on him.

Mason looked pretty good to me. He just didn't have a single receiver that could catch with the game on the line.

Their best 2 receivers missed most of the season. So, with the game on the line on 4th down, Richt had a backup QB throwing to backup receivers instead of going with one if the best RBs in the country. Still, if he'd just kicked 2 FGs, he'd have won the game.

He threw the final dropped pass that ultimately cost them the game to one of the best tight ends in the country -- who happens to be a 5th yr senior -- and likely to go in the top 3 rounds.

Just wasn't meant to be for Georgia today.

Yep. They've also played the National Champion every year in that span. And if Auburn wins, they'll have beaten the national champ twice in that same timeframe.

Good point. But still if I've got 4th and 2 with the game on the line and I've got Nebraska's defense spread out with only 4 linemen and 1 LB in the box, I'm running Gurley every time.
