I turned off auto-renewal.

I think it was under manage subscriptions, or something like that. I've since deleted the app, sorry I can't be more specific.

Can you login online and change it or is the app only?

App only. I have no user id or password to do it online. I just downloaded the app and i guess it charged me thru my itunes account. When i go to subscriptions it just tells me im monthly and that it will renew automatically. Im not a tech genius but i can usually handle something like this.

I think if you can click on either monthly or automatic renewal it will give you an option to turn that off. That's what it did for me IIRC- I was a little surprised it gave me the option fairly easily.

Just get your 5 year old to login to your iTunes account

And manage it from there...
