But I don't really understand the connection with SC and FSU on the uniforms. They look nothing alike.
I agree it does look like ****, but I let's not forget that this was done by a high school girl. I am assuming that they will use this "original" logo and take it to someone professional who will upgrade it, and I highly doubt that logo will go on the helmet. I think it will be something like a Green Bay Packers style "G".
They could have at least picked different colors ... red, black, and white? Could you copy Germantown, TN any more? I could have come up with something more original in 30 seconds. They might as well call themselves the Red Devils since it is inevitable that they will end up with the Packers/Germantown, TN G.
is the top choice. He's MC's pitching coach, and one of the best in the state, and I'll even go so far as to say one of the best in the country. That's how much I think of him.

Not to nitpick, but a horse and 'Maverick' don't exactly match up just right. Unless James Garner rode a horse alot in the TV show.
to beat that plain G on the Germantown Tn. or the Greenbay helmet. I like the logo and the colors and no one is trying to copy Germantown TN. This is all about dealing with the name Gluckstadt, simple as that. Gluckstadt is German for "Lucky Village" and thecommunity was founded by German settlers. They even have a festival each fall celebrating the German heritage and make some damn good sauerkraut and bring in some great beer so the town isn't all bad.
Mark lives in Ridgefield Subdivision in Gluckstadt. The new school is about 2 miles from his house. I wouldn't doubt if he pursues it. The new school will open as a 4A classification. Madison Central to remain 6A classification.
But it is a fact that Madison patterned their city and ordinances after Germantown, TN (yes I know this is Gluckstadt and a lot of cities are patterned after Germantown) and I'm sure there are other colors than red, black, and white. I was guessing that was the German(s)town comment, it has already been done. Not a big deal, I would just separate myself a little bit in the marketing department.
He may be pursuing that job. He has been to the state championship twice and had several deep runs into the playoffs, so I'm surprised he hasn't jumped to a bigger program. He has his young son at St. Andrew's currently; not sure if that would play a factor in his decision. That being said, he has been at SA for a long time (this will be his 15th season I think), and may be looking for a change of scenery.
and the mascot and I can tell you right now she could nottell you what Germantown TN's mascot or colors are if she had to. That never entered into the conversations; they chose what they could all agree upon through a democratic process. As far as the name Germantown goes and Mayor Mary; I don't think she was too pleased with Gluckstadt naming the school Germantown but she will get over it. Don't take this wrong, I am a Mayor Mary fan but she doesn't particularly care for Gluckstadt so it sort of stuck in her craw a little.
His son is Rolen (named after Scott Rolen). Rolen isn't even in kindergarten yet. DoesSt. Andrew's have a pre-K program?wbc40 said:
