The Big East now has a tie-in to the Liberty Bowl should the SEC not be able to produce a bowl eligible team (LB is now one spot down in the SEC order due to Gator Bowl addition - as I understand it). The arrangement also guarantees that the Big East has a tie-in to the bowl once every 4 years. The SEC would fill the non-Big East spot should there be an eligible team.

Nothing too major here, but the potential Big East/SEC matchup is interesting. It would be hilarious if Memphis ever built their program up enough to win CUSA, only to be bumped out of their backyard bowl game by the Big East arrangement.
