Good pickup, I saw where they were wearing his *** out on the Spirit last week

now I know why. He skipped his planned visit.

He'll never go to OM - he wants to major in Engineering. Assuming he doesn't make it to the NFL, he'll want an engineering degree that's good for more than wiping his *** with***

If we can land Jackson and Speaks(not great odds) it would be a very nice close

to a very solid class. I hear we have an uphill battle at Callaway right now even with Riddley as an assisant coach. I think you can put two and two together. I think the twins will end up at Ole Miss, I hear they tried to slip out of their commitment to one of the brothers (grayshirt) and it almost backfired on them.

Doubt we get Speaks, but who knows. If we get Jackson and Cory Thomas hen this will be a very solid class. And I think we get them

I agree and I think we have a good shot with Harris as well. The fix is in at

Calloway this year* Speaks may go to Bama but I think he will end up at Ole Miss.

I saw Speaks at Subway in Ridgeland 2 days ago and he was wearing an Ole Miss Freeze T-shirt.

How many DTs do you guys think we take? I'd guess we're after 3 or 4 now --- Speaks, Harris, Thomas, and Trey Brown. I'd like to see us get two that we an redshirt next year since we didn't sign any this year (unless Jones move over, which I don't see happening with our current personnel).

Great pickup on Green.

As long as I've been reading this board I should have known to have a pic to go with a post. I deserve to be raked over the coals. I hope he was just wearing some free stuff and he commits to State.

You realize that outside of our state, most engineering firms (like Sports fans) probably don't know the difference between the two schools right?

Engineering firms that don't know the difference between our two engineering schools' reputations?

Got a chuckle from this ...

Drive over to Huntsville and tell those firms 'there is no real difference in a State and OM engineer.' I work with Missile Defense Agency there and trust me ... they know the difference.

If only you knew what you were talking about. In the Mechanical Engineering world (my world), MSU and Ole Miss are miles apart. This goes for all types on engineering. UM engineers usually don't even get a second look. This goes for all three firms I have worked for and none of my bosses were MSU alums and all were firms located "out of state". But I will take your word since you obviously know more about engineering than I do.

Reminds me of K.J. Wright for y'all. Long with a good frame to build on, fast, rangy. Really high ceiling.

Easy to state, but not true in my experience. And I've done engineering in quite a few states. I will say that most of the firms that knew the difference had hired from both schools in the past...
