We had enough pitching depth to move him to midweek.
With a respectable Friday night starter, we win this game easily- like 7-2 or so.

that Fitts and Lindgren are healthy- lest we forget CC Watson and Ben Bracewell- and that they go to MSU over pro ball.
But yes- they are key recruits, as is Brandon Woodruff, Jonathan Holder, and Will Cox.
That said, what I think might happen is we could see a rotation of Stratton, Routt, and Fitts or Daryl Norris. I do think Lindgren will be a weekend guy, but it may not be his freshman year just because of who we return. It's also possible that Routt could get drafted and leave- although, I also don't expect that happen. But if it does, and Lindgren goes to MSU, I think Cohen could very well use him in the weekend rotation because Cohen wants at least one LH pitcher in the weekend rotation- even if that means he can only pitch three innings like Routt this year.
And I also wouldn't be surprised if we sign at least one pitcher in the spring this year- I'm not quite sure who that would be, though. Cody Livingston from Northwest Rankin doesn't seem as interested in us as he once was. We may go after a JUCO pitcher like we did last year when we got Pollerena and Busby. I think we might also go after an outfielder because we lost Bishop in the offseason, and also to cover oursleves in case Woodruff goes pro. Plus, we are going to lose Jaron, Trey Johnson, Ryan Collins- don't laugh, and Brent Brownlee is injury prone to say the least.

what the hell he is going on with him? He went from being a defensive replacement if a couple guys are out to looking like a decent starter. I never noticed until last night, but he has a cannon.
