. . . Now! I don't care if that last turnover was the center's fault (we don't know, yet). Good things do not happen with this bonehead in the game.

At least they got a 3 and out on D. Man - two turnovers already - tough to win when you are that careless with the Rock.

Did you hear the stat they threw out? 5 Green Bay starting QB's since 1992 and 30, yes 30 for the Bears. Chicago is a QB wasteland. Go ahead and bench Glennon. Mitch will be another casualty too. Unfortunately the Bears couldn't win with Brady, Samson Evans or Uncle Rico.

That joke of a receivers core aren't helping him and won't help Mitch either. I think I'd take a few of these HS receivers over those Bears WR clowns.

Mitch will be a deer in headlights also.

Bunch of undersized receivers that would be #3's at best on any other squad.
Also have a traffic cone at LT and a bunch of other guys that get holding penalties every 3rd play. Glennon sucks but the whole damn thing is a dumpster fire.

You know it's bad when they ARE NOT EVEN TRYING TO WIN THE GAME! What the hell - 12 runs in a row eating up 9 minutes of the clock WHEN YOU ARE DOWN 4 scores? Talk about waiving the white flag and tucking your tail beneath your legs and slinking home...pitiful. At least try thru the middle of the 4th quarter at least.

It's all a disaster. I don't know what I hate more .... the endless holding calls .... the stream of 3rd rate quarterbacks ... or the incompetence of the McCaskey family.

I know that Rahm Emmanuel likes to stir up the pot. He ought to announce that the city is reopening Soldier Field negotiations because the McCaskey's haven't held up their end of the deal. They were supposed to try to bring a winner. Truth be told, they probably don't have to anything, but the public humiliation might get them off the pot.

Sell Virginia, sell!

Glennon is a disaster. There's no doubt about that. And it's also true he has little to no weapons to throw to. However, the story to me was for the second road game in a row, the Bears looked like a football that simply was not prepared to play. Bye bye Foxy.

Don't be surprised to see Trubisky starting the next game. Not that it will help. But I think we all agree that this goes way beyond a QB who can't produce. And if you are wanting the McCaskey family to sell forget it. It won't happen. We are stuck with them and that is it.

Firing coaches and GMs and hiring new guys really won't change anything. We have seen this happening over and over for years. Ownership is the problem but it is a waste of time to think ownership will change. They don't care about the fans or winning.

I still think Trubisky comes in after the Bye week. That said, IDK if you can wait. Four turnovers (all him) is absurd. He's making Jay Cutler look like an efficient game manager.

I figured this was about Danny Trevathan.

Hit was brutal. Reaction following the hit was troubling. Guy doesn't have the bad rep of someone like Burfict, which is his only saving grace. If Burfict would have done that last night, he'd be suspended for quite a few games.

Shouldn't matter who did the deed. It was a brutal hit that would've brought an auto-eject in any other level.
...and they complain about head trauma.

The Bears braintrust, such as it is, is perversely hoping for a Glennon injury so that there will be no option but to bring in Trubisky. If they bring him in under any other circumstance, then they look like even bigger fools for their spin and rationale surrounding signing Glennon and Sanchez before the draft, then trading up to get Trubisky, telling Bear fans that Trubisky isn't ready for primetime, paying Sanchez millions to be inactive, etc. Bringing Trubisky in without an injury will underscore the Bears' desperation and their willingness to put a young and untested QB on the field with the same corps of third rate receivers and, in so doing, to potentially hinder or set back Trubisky's development (which the Bears have claimed all along to be the reason why he is NOT playing).

EVEN IF Glennon gets injured and Trubisky plays, the question of Trubisky's development becomes the elephant in the room. If Trubisky's development is what has kept him off the field for the past four weeks, why is Trubisky not #3 on the depth chart? If Trubisky's development is, indeed, all that precious of a thing to protect, why isn't Sanchez, the guy the Bears are paying $2 million this year, #2 on the depth chart? If they play Trubisky because Glennon is hurt, what are we to think of all their spin these past months around why Trubisky SHOULDN'T play? All that goes out the window because of a sprained ankle or a broken or dislocated finger on Glennon's throwing hand?

I agree. That hit was one of the worst I remember seeing. A few others come to mind, Antonio Brown, Boldin, Collie... This one was right up there at the top (or bottom) to the point where I had fear for his well being.
I was just speculating that Trevathan might get a game or two, but if Burfict had done this, he'd be on the sidelines for a lengthy stay.
I actually like the new college rule in regards to head targeting, even though it means more game stoppages and reviews.

I'm not excusing Trevathan, but GB did not do Adams any favors with that play call. The Bears defense was in a mini-prevent situation with it being third and goal from beyond the 10. You throw Adams a delayed screen in the middle of the field. It's a good way to get him or any WR injured.
