Absolutely correct with the Chinese.
Also, after reflection, you did not deserve the negative response from my earlier post. Sometimes I get defensive and respond before thinking about it. Apologies.Thank you, a reasonable opinion which I also share. Let’s just gtfo of there all together.
We either need to come out and say one of two things: “We are the world’s police. We will decide who is in charge in every middle eastern country from now until forever. We will occupy every middle eastern country as we see fit, and benefit from the economic resources in the area”. Or, we just need to pull out and let the Middle East fend for themselves. Trying to do a combination of both is not working. As soon as one regime topples, a worse regime replaces it. Rinse and repeat.
You don’t have a clue while sit at home in your comfy recliner while another generation of brave soldiers has to put their lives on the line for NOTHING.We came out and said “you kill and attack Americans, we’re going to kill your leaders”.
Crazy how this is being portrayed by media, then blindly followed by the uninformed.
What do you do when someone starts war with you?
Attacking an Embassy and killing Americans and innocent civilians for years is nothing? Please tell me what it would take for you to retaliate? Now again, I don't think we need boots on the ground over there but, if you attack us, nothing is off limits to do to the guilty party. You don’t have a clue while sit at home in your comfy recliner while another generation of brave soldiers has to put their lives on the line for NOTHING.

It boggles the mind how some would just let evil run roughshod over whatever they want. I don't understand the subservient attitude. We’re not going to war, but to act as if attempting to over run our Embassy is nothing is absurd. That is why the guy is dead.

However, Embassies should be off limits. They would not be able to kill Americans in the Middle East if there weren’t Americans in the Middle East. I’m not necessarily against the attack on the Iranian leader under the circumstances. I’m against occupying middle eastern countries to begin with.
Only in the Paddock. [roll][roll][roll][roll][roll][roll]Different circumstance but, you knew that already. Trump protected military and civilians. Barak allowed people to die. Two different sides of an argument. You lose again.
We dead.Lol. Iran trimming govt waste. Maybe they arent that bad...

Yeah, it kind of reminds of the better Red than dead crowd in the 60's 70's and 80's. Only this enemy will take your life anyway. Life, wife, daughter and your booty too. It's the pu$$ified everyone gets a trophy crowd. They don't fight because they are afraid. I hope the sissies don't get pregnant because these kind of parents are ruining America.
Yes they do. Every single patrol you could see and feel these people would love to kill you. Not that I blame them. I'd feel the same way. I grew to hate them and as bad as it sounds, you gotta dehumanize them to kill them or you'll lose your ****. If you're focus slips for a second you'll be toe tagged. You get used to it though. But that **** gets you when you get home. That's why our guys are killing themselves daily. I know you know all this, just posting it for others.Just a side note pushing my opinion. I have been there in Saudi, Iraq, and Kuwait and have seen the hate from many of those in the countries that were our allies. Went into a few towns on RR (Saudi) and from my personal experiences found that most don't want us there.
So much for the whole idea of ending endless wars in the Middle East, the USA just assassinated what is essentially Iran’s equivalent to the Vice President. The **** could very likely be hitting the fan in a hurry.
Why didn't you post your Liberal looney topic in the political thread?
Better yet, why wasn't this moved to the correct thread ?
In a similar move. I blocked the US military genius on Twitter. The @jameslee32 idea of the Iran deal, presented as on a childhood school yard.
*punk kid exists. Picks on kids, pushes them down, steals their ball, etc
Kid jameslee- I'm going to give this kid my allowance every week, then he won't bother me
Other kid- no, why should I give him that, hes picking on kids, bullying. He didnt earn my money. I'll band with my friends, find out how to make him quit, address it with teachers...if he breaks our toys we will do something to stand up
Kid Jameslee- what? You arent going to give your allowance? Then it's your fault if he beats you up, tears your toys up, not his for being a punk.
Jameslee's iran deal presented as the movie Friday
Jameslee- give Deebo what he wants, or it's your fault

This is what people don't understand; we've actually been in a proxy war with Iran since the Hostage Crisis yet the media acts as if this is some new development. Iran has been the biggest troublemaker in the world and this guy got exactly what he deserved.Attacking an Embassy and killing Americans and innocent civilians for years is nothing? Please tell me what it would take for you to retaliate? Now again, I don't think we need boots on the ground over there but, if you attack us, nothing is off limits to do to the guilty party.
This plus it's the "let someone else do it" attitude. It's the pu$$ified everyone gets a trophy crowd. They don't fight because they are afraid. I hope the sissies don't get pregnant because these kind of parents are ruining America.
I would be willing to bet that if another country invaded one of our states that some would say we need to let then have it instead of fight. We came out and said “you kill and attack Americans, we’re going to kill your leaders”.

Right, when the United States plays to win it does. The term "Police Action" should be stricken from everyone's vocabulary. We won the first gulf war pretty convincingly. We basically can win any war when the objective is to eff up the enemy. We lose when we play police force or ***** foot around.
On top to that, the South Vietnamese didn't want us there anymore than the North Vietnamese did. My Mother in Law is a South Vietnamese National and married a GI during the war. Her parents just about disowned her over that and the sentiment was that the United States only caused a war. She does not feel that way but told me a lot of people over there do. Incredible with all of the aid and money we gave them.you are right there. Same sentiment in other countries too. We needed to secure oil at an earlier stage.
no longer needed. Our shale reserves give us a few hundred years of commercial and military fuel. Assuming, which seems likely at the moment, that private transport moves to electric.
we definately don’t need more debt. We should turtle for the next decade, pay off our debts, and rebuild our national infrastructure.
Middle East is not the existential threat, it will be the Chinese.
Related to Phil Fulmer?Dude absolutely looks like he's fixin to give BIRF !
Trump could cure cancer and these haters would find fault with him.
And it's OK to take out Bin Laden but not this guy? Where was the liberal outrage when that happened?False. Carter and Obama are considered the lesser presidents in our time and it's not even close.
Many have forgotten the hostage situation and Carter's weakness during that time. They were released after 444 days on the the hour Reagan was inaugurated. Coincidence? Nope, Reagan would have hit Iran hard. Yeah, I have heard and read many stories about reasons they were released and I happen to believe one told to me by a Colonel who happen to be around during the rescue attempt and Carters last minute decision to change landing site for the helicopters which resulted in the deaths of 8 military men. Long story short, he should have let the generals run the show instead of worrying about how many Iranians were going to die during the attempt. Also, his story of what Reagan was going to do if they were still held after he was inaugurated. This is what people don't understand; we've actually been in a proxy war with Iran since the Hostage Crisis yet the media acts as if this is some new development. I was in Engineering School at UK when the hostages were taken. What was really infuriating was that we had quite a few Iranian students claiming that they were in the US because of their support for the Shah, however, they showed their true colors when the hostages were taken. The Dean of Engineering had to stop an all out riot between the Mining Engineering students and Iranians that were mouthing off and bragging about taking the hostages. Many have forgotten the hostage situation and Carter's weakness during that time. I don't believe we'll invade. I think we bomb them back to the stone age with air power and standoff weapons and let God sort out the aftermathLet me preface by v saying I'm not a Trump supporter. I lean left. But first and foremost I'm a Kentuckian and an American. Screw the politics. This is possibly war. I absolutely abhor how divided we've become. As another Kentuckian said, I don't wish for another 9/11 but another 9/12 would be great. We were all together. We realized how petty we treated each other and that we were all Americans. That's it.
Look, when I was in Iraq, Iranian weapons and disguised soldiers were wreaking havoc in the southern and eastern parts of the country. They had a particularly nasty ied that was amour piercing and killed hundreds of our guys. Killing that ****er is fine with me.
My fear is what comes next. If anyone thinks war with Iran would be easy or that bombing them will do the trick are delusional. Everyone thought Iraq would be easy, and Afghanistan too. Iran is a much larger country. It's troops won't just give up like in Iraq. They are not going to fight us in conventional warfare. We will get bogged down while igniting another power vacuum that will allow jihads to flow in. Our military is built to take on large enemy units. We've come a long way in asymmetrical warfare but still. This is all about if we were to invade.
The biggest obstacles would be here. The public overwhelmingly are opposed to this war, if it were to happen. Our military has been stretched to thin with 2 decades of war. I truly hope it doesn't come to that. I wouldn't wish war on my worst enemy. It takes part of your soul.
I'm guessing California since it'a an Anti-American state.Where exactly are they planning on attacking? I need to know before I decide if I care or not.
It started in 1979.Has it started yet?
