got a friend on the damn Indy Bowl committee....she tells me about their meeting....

a synopsis:

1. Miles has lost 2 games. He is done and the run is over. He needs to be fired
2. Rodriguez is losing at Michigan. He will lose again next year and Michigan will fire him and hire Miles- cause he knows LSU will get rid of him...
3. Saban's wife loved BR as did he, and they want to come back and retire there.

To quote the Diceman- "i'm trowin uppppppp"

I question that Saban will stay anywhere very long, ...hell he already left Baton Rouge once, what makes e'm think he wants to come back to stay? And certainly until he retires?
His track record says he may come back, but then he will be gone again.

Miles quickly. I think they could end up 8-4 but most likely they will be 9-3. This is difficult to believe.

Winning Programs dont put up with "Decent" results, they want the "Gold" every season.

We accept mediocrity ever since the inception of MSU Football....therefore, we still suck.

We accept much worse than mediocrity. 5-7, 6-6, 7-5 is mediocrity. 2-10, 3-9, 4-8 just sucks.

Only once did Saban lose less than 3 games in a season, the year they won the national title. The first SEC title was won with a 5-3 regular season SEC record. Not many times will that kind of record get you into the title game. Saban is a great coach, but the legend far outweighs the reality.

lost all credibility with "she loves BR as does he and wants to retire there". Are you kidding me? I'd rather retire in Pheba.

I've been longing just to get back to mediocrity. Four wins or less now looks likely for the 7th time in 8 years. That certainly doesn't even qualify for mediocrity.

The DiNardo years were not that long ago. LSU people need to wake up and realize how good they have it.

I've spent a good bit of time in Baton Rouge and it's a fun city. It's got its negatives for sure, but the positives outweigh them by a lot. The reason that statement that they love Baton Rouge so much they want to retire there is because 1) if they loved it so much, why did they leave in the first place and 2) Saban's pretty damn young to be thinking too much about where he wants to retire to.

as far as cities go but definately nothing special. Saban won't retire for a while but will likely be at his lake house in ga (i think) where he likes to spend all his free time.

I can't imagine him doing anything for fun besides sitting in a dark film room thinking of ways to rule the world.

Talking to Zuzu Petals was like masturbating with a cheese-grater. Interesting...but mostly painful.*

*replace Zuzu Petals w/ looney LSU fans.
