I'd pay to know what Nickoe said to Wallace at the end there.

Nickoe's one handed interception of Wallace was a thing of beauty. I'm going to miss that guy. He is all guts.

Dear god I love Nickoe Whitley. His demeanor, his nasty attitude, his ability to make us all hate him and then fully redeem himself at the end, the fact that he looks like a criminal but comes from an academia background...

Who's going to play the enforcer role next season? Going through the roster I can't think of another nasty attitude like his.

Again, I remember a certain person saying that nickoe wasnt sec material and should be in the sun belt.

To be fair, for most of the season he looked like a bum. I think a combination of his Egg Bowl performance and finding out he played nearly the whole season with a gimp leg changed a lot of people's opinions back to where it was pre-Achilles injury. His first several seasons were on point.

If only you knew someone with a popular* radio show who could reach out to him as a guest on said show....

No. YP. Everyone we sign who gets drafted or is all sec, wasnt sec material and was dropped by OM.

I wonder how many years it takes before they catch on

Who was that? Let's don't act like Nickoe didn't struggle at times. Angles, pass coverage, and the back to back personal fouls that got him ejected all spring to mind.

Nickoe was a pretty highly thought of prospect his junior year of high school. He ended up with 2 standing offers for SEC schools even after he had a gruesome ACL injury and missed his entire senior year.

He doesn't really fit the mold of typical unheralded recruit that Mullen signs, and to be honest if he wasn't already committed and Mullen wasn't hired a month before signing day I wouldn't really expect him to sign with us. He's a metro kid everyone knew about, but a big gamble.

But I'm glad he did sign with us. His career stats prove his was SEC quality.

Everyone just needs to chill the 17 out about our staff's choices. Even Alabama and LSU sign players that never do ****. It's not limited to us and our 2 stars. But I would imagine we have to be tops in the country on ROI.

Well, he did play most of the season on a torn ACL, so I'll cut him a little slack. Coming back from a ruptured achillies, I'm amazed he came back from that. I hope Jay Hughes is able to rebound as well.

I go 6 to midnight every time I watch J-Rob run. He runs with aggression but he gets upfield so quickly. Not nearly as much of the side to side shifting that Perk did so much.

This one has more video with seniors, namely Tyler, LDP and Nickoe

Great video as always! I look forward to these from you. One question, and maybe no one noticed but me, but we were either trailing or tied in all but 2 plays in the entire video. To me, It takes away from the play itself when I see that the 30 yard gain against A&M is when we are down by 10 with :22 on the clock. I am not suggesting to change the score, but maybe crop that portion out out of the videos for all of them. (Maybe since it has the network names, you can't) Just a thought...

Again not criticizing, just an observation. Back to Lurking...

Never seen a high school highlight tape with more "get your money's worth" personal fouls.

Yeah, there are a couple of those on the roster. Just none that will start. Jackson will likely get a lot of PT.

I've always been a fan of players that require other teams' skill players to keep one on on them at all times. Nickoe was like having a 4th linebacker back there.

The position that keeps me from getting wooly is Offensive line. Lost our best, and not that we do not have serviceable replacements just not confident till see them play against strong competition. Does not matter how good your QB, receivers, or running back is if you don't have at least middle of the pack to upper level performers on the offensive line it will not matter anyway. Not to mention we still do not have a field goal kicker worth a crap.
