Me and my fiance are planning on getting married at the Chapel of Memoriesin August and are having no luck finding a reception location in Starkville. Everything on campus does not allow the use of alcohol and we aren't having much luck elsewhere. Any ideas?

I've been to a reception at Hotel Chester. It was nice.
And check out the policy at the Hunter Henry Center:

Only catch with Hotel Chester and Hunter Henry are you have to use their caterers. We have a family friend who does catering and does a great job for more than half the cost they would charge. M Club prohibits alcohol for receptions but I do wonder if we could bring some in</p>
Hotel Chester is the way to go. The last two weddings I attended in Starkville had their receptions at the Hotel Chester. Yeah, you have to use their caterers but that's not unusual.
and the best place for a reception on campus is the Bryan athletic building. You can have alcohol, but I am not sure if you have to be tied to the athletic dept to have a reception there. Definitely worth checking into though.<div>
