True. So many of us are buying playoff tickets and sending money to build a new trophy case for the Big 12 football and basketball conference title trophy, football nation title and NCAA tournament title. I also wish the talk would die down about wanting to just move up to the NFL & NBA because we are so superior.
Come back after the season and tell us what a stellar year Marshall had playing one of the softest schedules in 1-A football. 12-0 with that schedule won't even land the herd in the top 25 by the end of the season............

The quality of a football team is not reflected by an alphabet soup classification. Hell, Kansas is a P-5 but Boise would beat them by 5 TD's!

It could very well be a long season for us, but I take some comfort in knowing that should we somehow manage to finish the year at 6-6 we will land in a better bowl than Marshall will get given the pathetically soft schedule they play this year.
