Grizzlies star Ja Morant's father was ejected in Saturday's home loss to the Thunder for being "overtly disrespectful" to the officiating crew.

Ja Morant's dad got the boot for riding the refs. I'm mildly jealous. Must have been a very quiet crowd to garner that much attention from a ref.

The NBA now puts warning notes on all seats in the first 15ish rows prior to each game. The notes say you will be kicked out if you say something mean to players or refs. I wonder why ratings are down? The entire product has gone soft.
Too bad we didn’t have these seat notes in the 90’s. The game would’ve been better off if Spike Lee had been best friends with Reggie Miller.

Not the first time he’s been ejected. He sits courtside every game and tends to be vocal at times. There’s a little history between Ja and the head referee last night so I guess Tee took extra care to let his feelings be known.

May have been fueled by the fact Memphis got their *** handed to them by OKC last night.

Shouldn’t take it that hard, OKC has pretty much handed everybody’s *** back the them this season. As a Celtics fan I’m praying they slip up in the playoffs before the finals, but I don’t see it happening. That’s especially true now that holmgren is back
