Nice call on Edit 3. When I first saw it, I asked myself if that was a pencil. Didn't make the connection.

Did anyone else see the official go apeshit on the AU coach after he fell into his legs?

On Bear's TD, nice non-block by the other WR (Miles?). If he would have blocked in the back, Auburn usually gets that call.

Richie Brown was open (after falling down) on the fake punt...

Been VERY impressed with Myles. Love JL but I think Myles may be more dynamic

when it is all said and done. And, yes, you are correct. He quickly realized that his block wasn't going to help and could be a block in the back so he lets up. Still accomplished the goal of getting in the way without the risk of penalty. Very smart.

And, yes, Richie was wide open in the middle of the field on the punt. I was ok with the decision to go fake punt. But, the second AU is in punt safe with their starting defense, you call a TO.

Yeah, if Brown didn't fall down, that fake punt might have worked....still a stupid call, though.

That was going to require our left handed throwing...punter...to throw back across his body. Brown was uncovered initially but it wasn't going to be completed b/c the AU punt returner was coming up to defend.

During our first drive of the game, there was a pass play to the left side of the field(I think to Wilson) where he went to the ground and an Auburn guy came flying in like a missile with his helmet leading the entire way. It seemed like the textbook definition of an illegal hit to me, but no one said a word. Did anyone else catch that or was I just way off?

at 14-0 I would've been okay with it as an aggressive call. At 21-0 it was reckless. Have to recognize there's a good chance we're giving a team that's down in the dumps a huge pick-me-up.

Yeah, I saw that and thought it might be called. A possible mitigating factor

if I recall correctly, was that the defensive player went low before our player went low. That's only my vague recollection, so I could be mis-remembering.
