I've been mulling this game over and think I have my mind made up, but I'm going to put it off for a few more hours.
Giles and Glenvar game predictions....is it too early

I think which ever team wins this week will win by at least 21. I don't think it will a close game. Just not sure which one will be on the winning side.
I like the way Giles "D" has looked lately. I'll go out on a limb and predict a Giles shutout , 10-0
I would love to see it 60 min man but I don't think u shut them out. Credit has to be given where it is due, they have some play makers. Even though their strength is defense I still see them have some big plays.
I have tended to think along the lines as 92 is. One team or the other in something close to a mismatch. Glenvar has more balance; Giles seldom has a passing game. I feel like Giles has a chance if they can intercept a couple of passes or return a kick. Don't feel like Glenvar will score on a 90 yard pass play on the first play of the game or Giles will screw up like they did right before halftime in last year's playoff.

I think I will be close. Both defenses are strong. Glenvar probably a little stronger. So I flip the script and say who ever wins the time of possession. The difference bein the passing game by Glenvar or the run game of Giles. I'll say Giles 20-13.
Fortunate to be in the last game? Only way the score wasn't different was.......well I won't go there about officiating. Let's just say that Giles had drive 160 yards each possession Glenvar was given shorter fields to drive. And still lost by a last minute fg. Just don't get that last comment at all. Head scratcher
I'm going to predict the best game around Friday night will be on Glenvar's field. I'm leaning towards Giles, but if any team can have someone's number all night it would be Glenvar. I'll say 13-10 Giles...apprehensively
Giles also never got the running game going and you know as well as I do if Giles is having to pass all game, they're in trouble.
LOL. Anderson flipped a coin on this game. He was wrong the last two times after picking Giles and he will be wrong again on the coin flip.
Funny how most everyone is picking Giles again.

Excited to see this game tonight. I thought Glenvar outrushed Giles in first matchup per Roanoke Times stats. I remember because that stat line shocked me. Why such a huge edge? And I don't think Giles has a huge edge in special teams this year. Maybe at kicker/xp's. Where else? And I don't believe anyone has a huge edge on Giles up front. Slight at best in my opinion. This game is a toss up to me.

He was wrong the last 2 times he picked Giles to lose also. That's why I was hoping he was picking Glenvar.
Perhaps that's because most are looking at it like this. Glenvar had all the advantages last game. Two weeks to prepare and rest to Giles 3 days to prepare coming off a physical game with Galax. U bet home field is a huge factor for Glenvar, that showed and I'm not talking about number of fans. This is reason I think Glenvar wins tonight. I once again look for them to play more then 11. The field conditions were sloppy and we all know that favorers Glenvar and their style of play over how Giles plays. All of that being said Glenvar was still very lucky to come away with that win, period. Not going to make game tonight and can't remember last time I have missed Giles game. I can tell u if Glenvar wins and they do it without 6 others help I'll be the first on her to congratulate u guys.
Winger...Field is in great shape this time around. Glenvar has no say so in who officiates..you know that....should have a much better crew. Agreed last time Glenvar was rested/Giles probably beat up a little and not as well prepare. Hopefully it will be a well played game on both sides and best teams wins whether that be Giles or Glenvar.
