To me we should have used Ginn as a position player/closer this year... but I guess in hindsight James not being able to handle one of the starting rotation spots forced our hand... next year will he strictly be a starting rotation guy or is there a possibility of him being a position/closer?

he wouldn't have come to school, if Lemonis planned to use him in that way. The Dodgers drafted him as a starting pitcher, and that's how he wants/needs to be developed.

I expect JT to give us the solid start tonight in Omaha this evening & to be a quality Friday Night SEC starter next season.

Yep - Ginn wouldn’t have come and Lemonis would have a hard time convincing another 1st round pitcher to come here in the future.

Lemonis is managing Ginn perfectly for his future and for potential other 1st rounders to enroll going forward...

Agreed....

Yep, if he can't give us 5 good innings tonight we are going to be in a world of hurt.

Our path to the NC series now is statistically remote but technically possible if a number of things all fall our way. One of those is JT Ginn MUST give us a minimum of 5 or 6 quality innings tonight. If he cannot do that our chances will fall from remote to near impossible even if we manage to win.

In any case, even if we beat the odds and win our bracket we would still be facing a championship series without ethan small.
