.......or FaceTime with her sister. Never stops. We’re watching a movie, boom, she calls. Out to eat, sister calls. If I convince her to just wait a bit, her sister calls back 15 min later.

I don’t know why it drives me crazy but it does. I guess I should be thankful that I don’t have to entertain her all the time but my God, it never stops.

Next time she does it, pull your dick out and start whacking her upside the head with it.

If you are with her much longer, some day soon you will be thankful that she can entertain herself and not talking to you with the girl talk.

I am about to wear out the remotes to our DVR's. She does not get the hint when I pick up the remote, press the pause button, look at her while she finishes telling me about her friend who has a $3,500 purse but will only buy clothes with deep discounts, rewind the DVR, and watch the scene again.

Any ideas when she became a fan is scissoring? Are we sure it’s her? Is she the butch or the fem, and does she like Tracy Chapman, and/or Melissa etheridge?

A study found that women speak an average of 20,000 words a day while men speak an average of only 7,000. This is one of the few studies I believe approaches truth. Except for my wife it's double and for me it's half as much.

My wife talks with her mother an hour every morning, then she talks with my daughter near endlessly after that all throughout the day. I don't know WTF they say and it doesn't seem to have much importance or make any sense. It's just a barrage of words flowing down a river of emotion which fills a hole in their psyche and allows them some semblance of exhausted sanity by bedtime. Seems to be a fact of nature. It can be frustrating when on rare occasion you have something of substance to discuss or want some "private time". Good luck working that in. I implemented a schedule and rules to assure that fun time is not impacted.

Some things I’ve noticed over the years of dating and being married.

They love to talk to you about people you don’t know.

There’s usually one person at work they can’t get along with.

They feel the need to ask you the same question a hundred different ways or ask for your input on something you’ve made clear that you don’t care about.

They love Instagram.

They can justify any of their purchases while questioning your purchases.

They overreact no matter how small the issue could be. If there’s the slightest bit of an issue over something needing to be done at work (or even at home, probably), it’s the “end of the world.” Instead of calmly just taking care of something, it has to be made into a big deal and they have to come to someone else with this “grave issue.” Work with a lot of women and you’ll see this **** on a routine basis.

And of those 20,000 words a day. 17,000 of them are the word "like"

If your take her out on a dinner date, ask her to turn her phone off while you are at the restaurant. That is a reasonable request. If she can't do that, she isn't that into you and you should get a side piece.

Wife and I went to dinner one night. Sitting near us was a young couple. Both focusing on his own phone. No conversation. I told my wife if I'm ever in the position to date again, if she pulls out the phone and starts doing whatever it is phone addicts do, I'm taking her home.
