Girls Scoring?...in the Playoffs

Saturday, in the 4th quarter of McNamara's 59-18 blowout of Olney Richland County, the Irish's final score was a field goal by their backup kicker - Claudia Dolliger (sp) (per the Daily Journal). I have heard of girls playing football, some who were very good, but has anybody else had a girl score this year?

I remember seeing a sports show on a couple of girls, one was a kicker and one was a db, said she likes hitting harder than the boys

Claudia is a very good softball player as well and I think she runs track,shotput? I know they ran a story on her sometime ago

I’ve seen girls on the lower levels of grammar school football that were really good football players, not just kickers.

Carbondale has a female kicker that has kicked a 30 & 35 yard field goal this season.

Madison has a girl on OL and DL. Not scoring but she is playing

Perennial 2A power Maroa-Forsyth has a female, Reilly Fitzpatrick, that is a three year starter at kicker.

Last I knew she had over 100+ varsity points.
