He tries to put off this nice guy facade, and really he's a self-serving POS.

Nick Saban is too, but he doesn't hide it. I respect that. He's up front about it. It's Saban's world, and you're just lucky enough to exist in his aura, but at least he doesn't pretend to be about the kids or some higher calling. He's about winning period.

paul bryant was just the best at what was the culture of college football in the 60's and 70's.

bobby collins was the same thing, but a small time crook that walked in on a big time criminal enterprise

brewer was just doing what vaught taught him to do. except get caught.

Was told last night by a doctor friend of mine that Woody had been suffering mini strokes around this time brought on dementia and contributed to this sideline meltdown. If I remember correctly, he died not too soon after getting fired.
