I love the OC. I love the offense....I've been begging for this for 15 years. Everybody on earth has stolen from it at this point, so it's not like we have something that nobody else has.
BUT.....this and other similar spread attacks OFTEN times have inside the 10 to GL issues it is widely known. Not always, but when the space is condensed these offenses routinely sputter. Scoring from 70? Not a problem... we will see that plenty.
What I do want is for them to commit to an inside the 10/GL package that doesn't get too cute or hide what they're doing. Do any real Carolina fans on here remember Corey Jenkins? I want Sellers to be Corey Jenkins inside the 10. Yes I want him to be healthy, but you can either take the rushing TDs or put a Tebow package in where another guy gets them. We HAVE to convert when it's 1st and Goal .... especially when you have a 240 lb. stud athlete that can also throw.

Or give it to your 220 lb back who typically falls forward. Dont mind the offense, but I could not wrap my head around moving the ball downfield running the thing, get inside the 10 and try to throw it. If I remember correctly, we already had 120+ on the ground by halftime. Ended up with a little over 130.

For the first time in years, we have a legit running game…

Offense was very predictable in the 2nd half. Lost a lot of faith in the play calling in the 2nd half.

Didn't Sellers throw a pick on the first offensive play of the 2nd half? And then throw another pick on his next possession? I can probably excuse an OC who goes vanilla after that to try to keep from completely losing his QB. Probably should have put Woods in at that point for at least a possession or two.

Yeah... agree....just thought that was obvious. We have 3 solid hard hitting backs. We just need that threat of the qb legs to make the RBs/OL that much more crucial. Defending that 12th man on the GL is a problem.

yeah....we didn't have the ball much in the 3rd due to the bad picks. Not Sellers best game obviously.

What plays though? We only had 5 offensive plays in the third quarter. 3 and out first series was the longest drive.
I'm not Monday morning QBing here....it's a hard thing to do. But, the one pick underthrown the dude was easily open for a 20 plus yard gain.
The other pick was an obvious pump and pocket where Sellers could've gotten 10 plus on the scramble to middle.

First drive we get a 7 yard rush and (IMO) sh!tty hold call on TE. Sidenote- MSU held way worse literally every play as can be seen. Flag on first play....questionable one at that. Dropped Pass to TE (for maybe potential 4 yard gain if caught). I did hate the 2nd down rush and then complete olay by RT to allow sack. Guy got to QB in 1.5 seconds. None of that is play calling or coaching.
