This game just became a lot more interesting! With JF having sole control (3-0) in the district and Glass being 2-1, this game is all of sudden very important towards district championship and Class 4 Region D playoff points. Who do you have and why?

I'd love to see glass win this game and put a 3 way tie at the top with JF glass and lca (assuming lca gets by heritage) but no one has been able to stop that jf offense yet so I have to go with jf
I’m going with Glass. I haven’t seen JF, but I know they lack in the defense department. Glass has been moving the ball well in the past two games with Macallum getting more comfortable as the starter. DreSean Kendrick is starting to make his presence known at Wr and Qb.
JF’s offense looks VERY good. Hackworth, Cupit, and Blake are generating a lot of offense for the cavs, and no one can stop them. Here comes the Glass defense. Look for the coaches to dial up the correct scheme to stop this wishbone. JF has thrived off of the long 60,70,80 yd touchdown runs just like Heritage. Glass will limit that.

LCA past Heritage? Did they struggle against Liberty last night or did Liberty play very well. Just curious. I was shocked at them being tied st halftime and winning near the end. I would have picked LCA to win by a bigger margin
Amherst struggled stopping it but also over 10 false starts really hurt Amherst. They need to get that resolved
JF will beat glass...JF's offense is clicking. JF plays no D, so it will be a another high scoring game.
No disrespect to LCA but, they will not get by Heritage. LCA struggled with Liberty last night and no disrespect to Liberty but, they’re nowhere near the caliber of team as Heritage. But, there’s no shame in not beating Heritage this year. They are a very very good team.

JF needs this game more than anything to avoid losing their 4th game. Heck I'm pulling for JF cause my Danville boys need it, but Glass gets the win! Glass is going to surprise a lot of folks come postseason.
Lca should have won bigger. Other than 3 big plays that gashed lca's defense, liberty didn't move the ball. It seemed like every time lca had some big plays that got called back. It seemed like every time lca got the momentum going they would throw a flag. I know one touchdown was called back. I don't know if they were legit penalties but from where I was sitting they were a little suspect bc you see where the ball being ran and you see the ref on the other side of the field throw his flag for a holding on a player was on the play side of the field. Not saying it was or wasn't a flag just suspect that a ref can see that thru 22 bodies flying around. But lca wasn't clicking last night on offense and it's a concern
It’s absolutely true JF defense has struggled but they show periods of time when they are stout. For example the second half last night vs Amherst the defensive stats would surprise you. Amherst’s only second half TD came from a 75 yard pass. Still a TD, but Amherst couldn’t put together a drive. To be fair, some penalties definitely helped but that wasn’t the only cause. JF was limiting the gain every snap. It all depends on which JF defense shows up mentally on any given Friday and if they can get a few takeaways
He's been ridiculously wrong quite a few times this year. With more on the horizon.
It's truly amazing a lot of times how different a defense, especially in high school looks from half to half. Good players and coaches show up in the 2nd half of a lot of high school football games.
Bulldogs_to_flames, I know you are a strong supporter of your team. I also understand why many people on this forum want to see Liberty go down. But just consider - are you taking in the entirety of the situation, or looking at the Liberty team's world through rose colored glasses?
I wouldn’t be surprised if Jf scored somewhere close to that but, I would be truly shocked if they kept Glass to only 28. The Jf defense is very suspect against the pass! Glass has more weapons at receiver than any team on Jf’s schedule.

I think the game is very interesting because it is a test of how far EC Glass has grown this year and JF maybe overachieving. Glass has speed and versatility on the perimeter and they are better in the defensive secondary than Amh or LCA. JF will counter with great ball handling and a speedy backfield. I think JF will need a few good passes to loosen Glass up maybe some quick rollouts so they can setup play action later. Glass and Wiidy are very aware of Christmas. This time if tear can teenagers generate the emotions and mental strength to get another string performance to play another playoff type game. Will JF have a letdown from the Amh Buildup or Glass get overzealous knowing that seeding is important. My pick is Glass 34-31.
