Shocker to me Wikki when I heard that score. But congrats to the Hilltoppers going to Salem and getting the W.

What little bit I know is that Salem was awful for most of the first half. Just before the half the switched a few personnel around and that helped. They played a lot better in the second half.
Uncharacteristically, Salem didn’t look prepared and ready to play.

I doubted for sure. I’m glad I was wrong! Glass played well both sides of the ball. Very impressed with the offense especially the running game. Defense made the play when it mattered. I could nitpick, but it’s the first game of the season and they’ll clean the small things up.
Whenever you can win at Salem, it’s a good thing.

Both teams played hard and made it a great game.

If #5 didn’t leave the game to injury, Glass would have run away with this game earlier on and Salems’s power eye offense wouldn’t have been able to catch up ( not enough time). If Salem would have ran the Power eye earlier on, if? Salems OC is the real loser in this game.

Both of Elijah Hughes runs were huge, and he was missed commanding the defense. Glass used about every running back and linebacker they had last night.

Not sure why Elijah left us at Brookville last year but I'm glad he's doing his thing at Glass. Very sorry to hear he got hurt last night. Kid is a special talent.

remember watching him his sophomore year against Salem in the scrimmage. He stood out for sure. Great kid, and I hope he can come back.
