I deleted a longer post because I think you shouldn't call out 17 year old boys for indiscretions.

My tackling point is that long ago, the NFL outlawed securing QBs around the waist and performing what they call in professional wrestling the full suplex. 99 picks up the QB and flips him over and slams him to the ground on the head.

Can't do that in the NFL.

I agree but I also feel the QB should help himself by accepting the sack. I strongly dislike with the QB and refs try to extra hard to get away but then complain when the play becomes too aggressive. I didn't see the play in question but I know the scenario all too well.

Agreed on many levels. This was likely do to playing players much smaller, which made the visual more dramatic. He likely wouldn't be picking up Cam Newton like that. Too big.
