It was well known in late summer of 2020 that the reaction had been overblown, that the virus was nowhere near as lethal as had been claimed, that hospitals in most localities were not being overrun, and that lockdowns were killing the country economically and socially. We know now that even the death rates had been falsely inflated.
The hospitalization rates (I hate to talk about death rates and Covid) fell because of the actions we took but you spin the falling hospitalization rates as a sign that Covid was overblown? Can't you see the glaring flaw in your argument?
We didn't just have Covid in the US, it was global. You have numerous other countries to look at. How does your argument hold up to say, Italy?
Why do you guys intentionally fool yourselves with easily disprovable fantasies? I don't understand what you get out of it?
The internet is a big place, but I’d imagine the Covid thread spanning the entirety of the pandemic and recording real time debate and reactions is one of the better consolidated records of real time reactions an analysis of the “science” as it was being made up.
Covid is the exact same as global warming but it has spanned decades rather than years.
Covid was the get rich quick start up dot com company, but global warming is the sure fire dividend paying value play.
Have you ever read a book about any other plague or pandemic? They always have to learn on the fly and mistakes are made all over the place until we finally get a grip on things yet you take this normal process as a sign of a global hoax for money?
As I said above, you have the whole world of information at your fingertips. Stop just focusing on the US reaction as ignorant naive Republicans skewed everything. Take your ideas and apply them globally and see if they hold up.
As for Climate Change (which is what this thread is for) then you'd have to believe there is no such thing as green house gasses, that since human industrialization began the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere has not increased well above 400ppm and climbing steadily, and that all around the globe we are not witnessing in real time the effects of that increase.
These are easily measurable things. Scientific certainties. You have to be willfully delusional to believe what you people believe. It boggles my mind that you purposefully choose to be ignorant.
