Go look up June 28, 2012 through about July 7. I'll wait.

Dunn is on to something. I've noticed we still have winter even though climate scientists say the earth is warming.

Well dang. It was hot because it was summer! That's what happens every dad-gum summer!

On the other hand, cold in winter means them tree huggers are full of crap.

Don't you see the difference? Quit drinking the koolaid with your eyes closed! It's science and stuff!

He said it never gets above 100. I called him on it. Save your snark.

It was in June. I remember walking back from court one Friday PM, about three blocks, around 1:30, and thought I was going to pass out, literally was unbelievable heat.

I'm in Iowa and it's F'n cold here. As in below zero most of yesterday and all day today. We are in a different part of the globe, so it seems to be a trend.

I don't want to ruin the multi-page potential of this thread, but 2014 was the hottest summer ever recorded on Earth.
So, there's that to consider. Now, if you wanna talk sea ice, I know just the guy for that discussion.

I don't know who's worse. The person who makes the same global warming joke every time it's cold, or the people who take the bait every single time.

That was the week my downstairs unit threw a capacitor, bad timing to say the least.

I've skied in a hoodie, in a jersey, even in shorts. Made it through one ski condo losing power and heat...

But yesterday, being outside for 5 minutes walking to my car, WITH a ski parka covering all but my eyes, was the coldest I had been in my life. I think it was -30 with the windchill in upstate NY. It was so bad I had to walk backwards into the wind..

Didn't have gloves, but I was ~15 minutes away from first signs of frost bite in my extremities (Which I have also been through.. twice).. that's how blisteringly cold it was up by me.

I was there in early June one year. Every day it was about 60 in the morning, 70 in the afternoon. Loved it there.

I WENT TO KINDERGARTEN AND FIRST GRADE AT CHRIST THE KING, SECOND GRADE AT LANSDOWNE AND STONWALL, 3RD AND FOURTH GRADE AT STONEWALL(THOSE WERE ALL LEXINGTON SCHOOLS), FIFTH GRADE AT WHEELER ELEMENTARY IN JEFFERSONTOWN. 6,7 GRADE AT CARRITHERS MIDDLE IN J-TOWN, 8TH GRADE AT CARRITHERS, CROSBY IN MIDDLETOWN AND THEN JESSIE CLARK, AND BEAUMONT, THEN BACK TO CROSBY TO CAP OFF MIDDLE SCHOOL. HIGH SCHOOL STARTED AT SHELBY COUNTY, THEN DUNBAR, LAFFAYETTE, ONEIDA BAPTIST INSTITUTE, BACK TO LAFFAYETTE, THEN TO TRINITY IN ST. MATHEWS, THEN TO LAKOTA IN WESTCHESTER OHIO AND THEN TO LAKOTA WEST AND THEN BACK TO LAFFAYETTE TO GRADUATE IN 1998. I WAS SUPPOSED TO GRADUATE IN 1996 AT 17 BUT GRADUATED TWO YEARS LATE BECAUSE I SAT OUT A COUPLE OF SEMESTERS AND WOULDN'T GO TO SCHOOL WHEN I WAS ENROLLED. BAD ATTENDANCE. I STARTED TO GO TO COLLEGE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL BUT GOT IN TROUBLE. I HAVE COMPLETED SOME COURSES AT SOMERSET COMMUNITY COLLEGE BUT FOUND TROUBLE AGAIN. I ALWAY'S DID WELL IN SCHOOL WHEN I MANAGED TO GET THERE. IF I COULD DO IT ALL OVER I WOULD VALUE SCHOOL, I REALLY MISS IT SOMETIMES. I WAS A GOOD BASEBALL PLAYER THAT STOLD THIRD BASE OFTEN AND COULDN'T BE CAUGHT IN THE (HOT BOX) I'M 5'10 BUT REBOUNDING WAS THE BEST PART OF MY BASKETBALL GAME. WHEN I GOT BEAT IN A SPRINTING CONTEST, (WHICH ONLY HAPPENED 4 OR 5 TIMES), I FELT LIKE LIFE WAS OVER. "PERSEVERANCE" IS MY FAVORITE WORD. HOPEFULLY MY LIFE ISN'T HALF OVER YET BUT IF IT'S GOD'S WILL I'M READY NOW.

I read that earlier, figured someone would start a thread over it. Those bold headlines should also mention that the old record was eclipsed by .07 degrees F. Seven hundredths of a degree.

The main story should be the lack of warming in spite of continued CO2 enrichment of the atmosphere.

If humans and carbon emissions are the primary cause of all this global warming and climate change, then what caused all the ice formed during the ice age to melt and flood most of the planet? Dinosaur farts?

7 hundredths of a touching degree? Hell, I'll just cut my stove off 30 seconds earlier next time and it will even out.

Dunn is just doing his thing. It's the people that actually hold the beliefs he parodies that we should worry about.
