Posted this in another thread so, apologies for the redundancy, but Boaz is USED to starting the third game of a series. Globe is USED to pitching in relief. Why not stick with roles that players are accustomed to, especially knowing that if Boaz is off, you can bring in Globe for starter-like innings if necessary? Starting pitching has not been an issue in games 1 or 2 so far, and I don't see any advantage to messing up established (and effective) routines that have worked well in 3 game series this year.
These guys have established routines and approaches to preparation. Saying that Globe should start because he has better metrics is a bit too black and white, IMHO. It doesn't take into account the mental aspect of the game. Someone has mentioned the possibility of being down 3-4 runs if Boaz starts, but I don't think Forbes would let it get to that. If Boaz has location/movement issues, he comes out early (before real damage gets done) and Globe pitches starter's innings. But on the other hand, every inning that Boaz can cobble together three outs puts us at that much more of an advantage. I just can't see how the lemon is worth the squeeze to shake things up, especially sending a freshman to start for the third time ever in a deciding game of a super regional, no matter how good he has been in relief.
