Western Carolina. Really? Are they ranked? Admittedly I don't know the early season top 25 in College Baseball.

Most years the Carolinas are littered with teams that could compete very well in the Big Ten. Don't know what Western has this year, but they could be pretty solid.

We can`t take any team on the schedule for granted, not one.
The real question this yr is not whether we will make the play-offs, but if we'll average more than 3.5 runs per game against teams not named Northern Colo. Can this team get much worse?

Good chance for a sweep today with Meyers on the mound. Charleston was missing its ace this weekend due to injury, but they are a pretty solid program.

W Carolina is one of the best teams in the country. No shame in not being able to beat them.
?????? They have an 8-10 record with 2 of their victories being over the Huskers and the others over:

North Carolina T&T
Marshall (2 wins)
Coastal Carolina
North Carolina St
Kent St

They also lost to Appalacian St, Kent St and Kennesaw St. Honestly I can't even tell you where any of those 3 schools are located. Take out the Husker games and WCU is 6-9, not sure where you are from but where I from a 6-9 record will not qualify you for being one of the best at anything except for maybe Losing.

I think Charlie was just paying tribute to the Johnny SuperFans who give Erstad a perpetual tuggy no matter the result of NU's baseball games.
