It's a legitimate question. Any revenue wasted like that is revenue someone donated. All comes from the same place now.

Personally I'm not donating to some random Go Fund Me campaign for someone to use my donation towards their personal Bulldog Club or State Excellence account.

If the University set up a specific way to contribute to pay for the fine, I would not hesitate to make a donation. The amount of excitement and the memory of being on that field after the game are well worth the price.

Just buy a ticket to the Tennessee game. Even if you aren't going.

Money to the school and keeps the orange out.

Let's be honest. Aren’t NIL collectives just glorified GoFundMe accounts?

Why don’t you and others just give to SEF/BC…. No need to do a go fund me. We need all the gifts to be donated to SEF/BC

Do give to Bulldog Club, this would give a chance for those that want to give $20 towards the cause that don't give to Bulldog Club to pay into the kitty. We can give money straight to department to offset the fine.

Bottom line is, was this 500K field storm worth it, to recharge the fanbase and have that moment? Guess we will see. You can probably argue that it helped recruiting of all kinds.

Let’s just not do it again.

It’s embarrassing how poor some of y’all think we are. We are a major SEC program and some of y’all are talking about a GoFundMe to pay the fine like were a 12U baseball team trying to fund our trip to a tournament at the beach.

Exactly, I don't get why a lot of our fans don't understand this.

Quick question, why won't they let us know how much/little we have so we'll know how rich/poor we are so nobody would have to suffer this embarrassment you speak of ? Somebody somewhere is going to poke around and find out that some major funds have gone missing and a lot of finger pointing is going to happen if they don't start doing some audits and bring in some checks and balances.

I'm not arguing that one way or the other. I'm saying if you really want to offset the cost, there are many ways to do that already.
