its going to be just like the Liberty Bowl a few years ago....the maroon and white will travel in droves. It will definately be a home game for us no matter where it is.

If we play Michigan in the Gator Bowl as some people have projected, I imagine that they will travel pretty well.

It all depends on who and where we play. We drew well to the Cotton Bowl in 1998, but we played Texas, so even though we drew well, it wasn't really like a home game, and it was more Texas people than State.

Same thing with the Peach Bowl in 1999- Clemson has a lot of fans in Atlanta and they aren't far from there.

But the Liberty Bowl- if we don't outdraw UCF- shame on us. Especially since the Liberty is a really convenient bowl for most of our fans and we have a lot of alumni there.

surrounding this team this year now that I believe we will at the very least get 50% of the seats where ever we go.

really wants us back in Dallas. He was practically begging us to get to 8 wins a few years ago when we had a chance. He knows we travel well and would create a great atmosphere. If we make it to 8 wins, we'll be there. If we make it to 7, i'd say Atlanta bound.

It's really hard to say because we're kind of clumped in with a lot of two-three loss teams.

After thinking about it- right now I would have to say the Peach Bowl because as of the moment, we legitimately moved ahead of Florida. South Carolina losing may have helped us with the Peach as well. I figure the Outback will take either Florida or South Carolina because we all know that we ain't going there. As far as the Peach, it could be between us and South Carolina for the Peach. I think that will depend on the Florida/South Carolina game as well as how we finish out.

My thinking right if the season ended now is:

BCS- LSU/Auburn (I can't see an undefeated SEC team not in the National Championship Game)
Sugar- LSU/Auburn

I think the SEC will get two in the BCS regardless. We're the only conference with three teams in the top 10, and those three have yet to play each other. They (LSU, Auburn, Bama) will settle that out on the field.

Cotton- Arkansas- Because of Ryan Mallett. If they can get Texas this year, they will have a nice rivalry match-up.

Capitol One- Alabama- bear in mind I'm doing this as if the season ended today. This will be the third wheel of the BCS contenders.

Outback- South Carolina- I think they get the SEC East Champ. I think South Carolina is better than Florida.

Peach- MSU because....

Gator- Florida- I can't see this bowl turning down Florida if they have the opportunity. We could still end up here if the Outback takes Florida and the Peach takes South Carolina. Although, if South Carolina wins the East, the Peach may not want to invite a team that was just in Atlanta less than a month before.

Music City- I think UT finishes with six wins and this bowl will be happy. Their game with Ole Miss may be for this bid. They may go after Georgia if UGA can manage to get six, and UK is a contender as well. If Ole Miss manages six, they'll get a look as well.

Liberty- I think they have to get an at-large this year. They may end up with UK or Ole Miss if they can get six. If the Music City bowl goes insane and doesn't take UT, they could go here.

Birmingham- Georgia. Mark Richt's last stand.

Basically, right now it looks like Georgia, UT, UK, and Ole Miss are going to scramble to get six. Just guessing- I think at least two will get eligibility. UT/UK, UM/UT, the Egg Bowl, and MSU/UK are all huge games as well as UGA/GT and UGA/UK.

We win UAB, Kentucky, lose a close one to Bama, upset ARK, and beat Ole Miss on our way to the cotton bowl. And then i wake up... But seriously this could happen...........

Looking ahead to games scare the **** out of me.... Especially looking past Kentucky... Unfortunately for them, South Carolina paid for that dearly. That game seems like it's going to be rather fun to watch.

I hope that happens. I would love to upset Bama there since I am going to that game. That would really make a statement even moreso than tonight. Arkansas plays us on senior day, so guys like Chris White and KJ Wright are going to want to go out in style.

UK is a dangerous team, but I think we will win because we are at home, and I think we will control the clock with our running game. Alabama is going to be tough because of Saban. He is going to make us have to throw to beat him. We do have two weeks to get ready for Bama, though and they will be coming off of a game with LSU in Baton Rouge as well.

UAB has put some points on the board agianst a couple of Sun Belt teams and Tennessee of all people. They got taken to the shed by Central Florida, although they beat UTEP at home tonight. We should be able to beat them though.

looked past them. It was on the road and they had a fairly big lead on them. UK took the lead on kind of a crazy play where they had a big time breakdown in the secondary and left Randall Cobb all alone in the endzone. Then, Spurrier got a little greedy when he was in field goal range and Garcia forced the ball into at least double coverage and it got picked. Spurrier should have gone for the field goal and OT since he was on the road in hindsight. UK has a pretty good offense- they can score some points, especially at home. They are not very good defensively. They just happened to come out on top tonight. Also, Marcus Lattimore got hurt in the game, and that may have affected how they called the game in terms of trying to run the clock out, or how effectively they could do that.

It finally feels like we should now win all the games "we are suppose to win"(knock on wood). Its been a damn decade since this happened. But looking forward to UAB.. Davis Wade will be ROCKING. I cannot wait. If we can stop Cobb we will beat Kentucky. It seems historically when a team pulls a big upset they tend to lose a game they never should the week after. I can seriously see South Carolina pulling another last year with their remaining schedule.

Was at the JSU/SU game, which was rather awesome I may add, but hearing it put in that kind perspective is kinda crazy. I hate to hear Lattimore getting hurt. What kind of injury was it?
