Before i say this i'm throwing out a disclaimer that i just now noticed it with 4 minutes left in the game. However this crowd looks like a crowd at a state championship game in jackson. There is absolutely noone at this game. If it's been like this the whole time it may be worse than the beef o brady bowl

They claim that they had a little over 38,000 in attendance. Ladd-Peebles Stadium holds only 40,000 and, from what I could see on TV, the place was practically empty. I would bet not many over 10,000 were in the stands for that game.

But over half disappeared at halftime. I am guessing that most of the crowd to start the game were locals with free tickets or had some sort of tie to the game through HS bands that were in the bowl parade.

What do you expect though? MT travels as well or better than any Sun Belt school and they sold somewhere between 3 to 5,000 tickets. Miami(OH) probably had comparable numbers there. Anything over 10,000 for a bowl between a 6-6 SB and 9-4 MAC school is actually pretty well attended.
