I watched a little of that game yesterday, and the thing that stuck out to me the most was the fact that even with all the money Jerry spend on that stadium, not one of the engineers or architects or anyone for that matter thought that maybe it would be a good idea to build the field running North and South.
There is a reason they say "run North and South", and it's not just a figure of speech. It's because you're supposed to build football fields where they run North and South, not East and West so that you don't have teams playing directly into the sun. Do a Google Earth of stadiums, and you should find most of them facing North/South for that reason.
And if they wanted to build the field East/West, they needed to not leave a big glass wall in the endzone. Simply amazes me some of the simple things that can get overlooked in a project that big.
