Wow at the convincingof us State fans that he was going to be a Dog.Most were after the Egg Bowl beat down. Since then, what have we done to hurt ourselves? Go to a New Years Day Bowl and beat the hell out of our opponent, I guess.

An interview C.J. did with the Clarion Ledger has sent Mississippi State fans scurrying to message boards to find out more about Johnson's statements that he may not be 100% committed. The talented linebacker reports his phone has been ringing all day, so he decided to call scout.com to make a statement. "There is nothing to worry about," said Johnson. "I am still committed and I am going to stay committed. I am still trying to recruit guys to come to Mississippi State just like I did when I committed back in August. "If signing day were today, I would sign with Mississippi State just like I plan to do in three or four months from now"

Last night Mississippi State started like 18 or 19 Mississippi players in the Egg Bowl and Ole Miss started like four." The Bulldogs' local flavor is appealing to C.J. "Growing up in Mississippi and watching the Egg Bowl that was real important to me," said Johnson. "People outside of Mississippi don't realize what a big deal the Egg Bowl is in the state. "Everybody watches that game and it's a big deal to the people in Mississippi." When the Bulldogs and Rebels get together next season, Johnson will be in uniform rather than in the stands. "I am looking forward to being a part of all of that," said C.J." "I will get to play in the game next year and State is going to win again."</p>

It's NEVER over.

If I were him, I'd more embarassed that someone ripped his tag or whatever off athte game and embarassed him like that, THEN I go back and sign with them.

I donlt know if that really happened, but if that really happened to me, I'd never sign with that team.
