Wrong… it was the right call. Being down by 3 was meaningful in that situation. Being down by 5 was not. You can’t coach expecting them to score more or not score more. Just gotta play the situation at hand.

I fat fingered that up vote. You go for 2 every time in that situation.

So you can see in the future to make that call? This is a hindsight is 20/20 play. You would be on here making the opposite post if we went for the extra point and lost the game by 4 instead of having the opportunity to kick a game tying FG

Agree, the second onside kick was stupid. Gave them a chance to kick the FG without even having to get a first down. Kick it deep and play defense. There were three minutes left and we had two timeouts.

This. 3:03 with two timeouts, you gotta kick it deep. We almost got away with it on the first onside kick but after that you've got to kick it deep 100 out of 100 times. We essentially gifted them a FG there in a game we lost by two points.
