Apparently this will be Mississippi State's first REGULAR SEASON baseball games vs Texas in Austin since a guy named Dudy Noble took them there in 1925. Were we called the Aggies back then? Maybe the Maroons?

I’m gonna get hate for this obviously, but moving Tomas to Friday is silly, it’s moving him away from his dominate day on Saturday and forces him to face the Ace from the opposing team. Saturday used to be automatic for us. Now if we lose Friday, it’s basically a sweep. I think we get swept this weekend. Not trolling, just stating my opinion. We desperately need at least one. Shouldn’t have moved him.

Only team to beat them in the postseason that year. They had probably the best pitching staff in college baseball history. Clemens, Bruce Ruffin, Mike Capel, Calvin Shiraldi. Also had Mike Brumley at SS.

Yep. Bama finished runners up in the CWS, and in the SEC West. We 17ed around & lost to Tennessee in the SECT & that gave Bama a host regional & sent us to Texas.
