We have a horse farm tour and a tour of Makers Mark lined up on Friday. Any suggestions of other things to see or do this week?

If you have never been I would go to the Oaks Friday if I had to buy a GA ticket and just look around
and enjoy. It will be busting loose in the afternoon. On Saturday you won't be able to do anything but
sit in your seat.

You can do the other next time we play Kentucky in Lex.

We have a box at the finish line. I doubt I can get to the infield. When you say tits everywhere, are we talking Talledega tits or will these women be dressed up?

The folks you see will be dressed to the max. The infield will be all types. That is why you need
to go Friday. If you have a box at the finish line then you dropped some serious coin. Our box is
down from the finish line it was enough to choke a goat.

I know a real estate developer from MS whom I would consider wealthy. He got tickets to the Churchill Downs Club house for the Derby. I asked him how was the trip. He said he thought he had some money but after the Derby he realized his bank roll was chump change.

The infield is basically the same crowd as a NASCAR infield, so you'll see all types. The chicks in the sundresses and big hats are NOT the ones that will flash for beads. Some of the boobs I saw, I wish could be un-seen. I also saw a drunk, distracted guy get picpocketed (it's a huge crowd, use some situational awareness), and some guys get into a fight that involved a julep glass getting smashed into a face. I doubt that will happen where you are, but if you're curious, there is a tunnel from the "real seats" into the infield. If you want to get a julep, they're either 7 or 9 bucks, and it's basically a few shots out of an Early Times mint julep bottle and a ton of ice poured into a glass that's available at any liquor store in Kentucky for $2. There will be insanely long lines for the bus, so getting out takes forever (assuming you're parking at the fairgrounds and taking the bus instead of paying to park in someone's yard). As for partying the night before/after, I'm more of a fan of Bardstown Rd. (i.e. The Highlands). It's more of a college, artsy, local scene. But if you're downtown, you'll probably go to 4th Street Live. It's kind of like Beale Street meets the mall. Either way, the bars will be open until 4.

Don't forget your Ole Miss embroidered seersucker suit, your frat cleats, and your Costas, brah.

I kid. I went to Belmont last year and plan on going again this year. Fun stuff, although I doubt the crowd is half as fancy at Belmont. They don't even serve iced sweet tea... The nerve.
