I wouldn't. I don't want a "total dickhead" as my qb. And how in the hell did this guy who (if memory serves me correctly) threw SIX interceptions against Arkansas last year, become a Heisman candidate between then and now? I'm calling media hype ********, which is typical year after year for them. Does anybody really think that Will Rogers would have gotten the same award if he had put up the same numbers as Mr. Heisman did against AP (which he probably would have)?
I would not trade either. # 1 he is gone after this season. #2 not sure he fits the air raid at least not without a little adapting. #3 he is a dickhead. He seems to have gotten that temper under control tho.

It was pretty wild back when it happened. Steve drove all over the place interviewing people to see if they knew AP. He ultimately said that he knew the real identity but was not going to put the person.
I remember they did a segment on “her” on Head to Head. “She” supposedly called in. It was high comedy at the time.
The Make It Rain Sports guys defended her to the death. I want to say one of them said he actually met her at an Ole Miss sporting event.

Yeah, I read the Deadspin Article and the Steve article. Apparently the gals in Dalton Georgia (whose picture this crook "appropriated" as his/her profile) were not amused.
Steve should have outed the perpetrator, so that the Dalton gals would have known who was stealing their identity. Clearly they were using a fake account to recruit for Ole Miss during the dead recruiting period. There really should have been accountability, else others will become copycats for the "Glory of Ole Miss"...
How poetic that Hugh Freeze would wish her a Happy Birthday from his account. I suspect the Dalton gals were aghast when it was revealed that Hugh was providing hookers for recruits....

He is more talented and will be an NFL QB but that doesn't mean he would plug and play in the Air Raid and be instantly successful.
Well if the choice is an NFL qb or not an NFL qb, give me the nfl qb, and I'll take my chances
No college qb is an "NFL qb" until and unless he gets there and actually wins the job and actually plays. Last I checked, Golden Boy has not done that.
Eta- I'm pretty sure nobody was calling Dak Prescott an NFL qb at any time when he was playing for us. That just points out the difference between their hype machine and ours.

Not according to some. People on here still make fun of Collin Cowherd who said Dak would only make it in the NFL as a tight end. He was not the only talking head with that thought. A lot of people saw him as another Tebow in the NFL.
I'm sure this will go over like a lead balloon, but if I may ask.. exactly what leads so many of you to think Corral is a dickhead? Besides him getting in a fight as a true freshman in an already heated Egg Bowl fight, and him playing for Ole Miss?

I don't recall anything Corral has specifically done to be called a DH, other than maybe his actions at the Egg Bowl you mentioned.
I think he acts stupid sometimes during interviews, but the vast majority of college-aged people act stupid from time to time . . . they're just not on TV like Corral.
For me, Corral only receives my general disdain for all things "Ole Miss."

I’ve not noticed him acting stupid in interviews. If anything, I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how good he’s been behind a microphone, the last 2 years. Especially considering what he’s went through in his career at Ole Miss.
With all that said, I recognize that you and I view those things through our fan and rival glasses, and I fully understand and respect that. Appreciate your honesty. I’ve certainly disliked MSU players for no good reason, in the past. Except Dak. Dammit, he’s just too good behind a mic for me to dislike him. And I hate the Cowboys, too. So he’s pretty damn amazing, truth be told.

On the high school part, let’s be honest here.. that’s a reach. I bet we’ve both got several players that got kicked out of, or transferred high schools during their career. I’d even venture a guess that if you dug into why he got kicked out you might even find yourself begrudgingly liking him more.
I, as an Ole Miss fan, had very real skepticism and my ******** radar up well before it got outed as a fake account. They weren’t even good at it. It amazes me that grown men are behind things like that. It’s actually kinda scary.
100%. I know Steve became a martyr for many MSU fans, and I get it. I’m not even saying I wouldn’t feel the same way if the situation was flipped. But some of the stuff Steve did was also batshit crazy, and his defense of some of those actions is also hilarious.
It would make a great movie one day. But the egos involved would never allow the story to be fairly represented, on any of the multiple sides.
Let me preface this by saying that I think Will Rogers is a good QB, and that he will shred some SEC teams, including Ole Miss, before his career is over. Much to my chagrin, he’s getting better before our eyes.
With that said, anyone who’s watched Corral throw the football and watched Rogers, and still says they’d prefer Rogers is either:
1) lying
2) basing it on some “character” metric that’s laughable
3) is an absolutely awful evaluator and scout of QB talent
or 4) is so blinded by their fandom that their opinion has to be discounted
Once again....Corral will go in the NFL draft after this year. Believe it or don't.....its a fact. This offense doesn't work exactly like Lanes. with a little experience he would be better than Will but we are 2 games into his final season already. He might hit his stride after a couple games maybe.....but it would be a disruption for sure getting use to the recievers, scheme, etc. Its almost like saying you can just drop KJ Costello in and succeed
