Yes, the RB/MLB that is listed as #12 but might also wear #38 or #21 will be heard from....their big linemen will be heard from....they may not win the game but they will find a way to make it a slobberknocker...I've followed South Granville all year, or the last 14 years actually, and the physicality we saw from Goldsboro in the 1st Rd was just a tick below what we saw from Clinton in 2nd Rd two years ago, and from Rocky Mount and Southern Nash the four years each that we played them in non-conference games....only team on our schedule the last two years that came close to Goldsboro was South Johnston, and there I'm only really talking about their defense having 3-4 guys playing LB or S that would stick you, coupled with some big DTs that are hard to block.....SJ offense is still more spread/finesse/short passing...Goldsboro has size up front on both sides of the ball and will try to wear you down....I haven't seen WRH this year, but am guessing they have much of the same....historically a good program that takes care of business in the weight room so they can take care of business running the ball and stopping the run...I won't catch it in person but look forward to hearing updates, as WRH was the only conference loss they suffered where the final score made it look like they had no shot to win the game; curious to see if this Friday will go about the same or if we'll see a barn burner
Goldsboro has just as much talent maybe more than any team in the ECC. Only issue they have that I saw is discipline/penalties and coaching. If they were playing any other team that wasn’t in ECC I’d say they have a chance but WRH familiarity with them will pay off. I also don’t think WRH has lost a home playoff game since 2012 2011 or something ridiculous like that.
If memory serves correctly the last home playoff loss was against Ayden-Griffin in 2011.

3rd or 4th round wasnt it....that was the year WRH's stud RB couldnt play cause of some poor life decisions.....they probably would of 3 peated that season
Ahhh that’s right that was the Omar Carr year. That guy was better than Glaspie IMO. Omar was D1 talent.

He was certainly special but every school has those types of situations i grew up with some really good ball players alot of them wasted talented on trying to be thugs its sad......thats why i root for anyone who makes it out of these places and hope they do well

Same here brother. Sucks but starts at home, you have to teach them young which ways to go in life. Tons of talent at SWO have never left the town after playing highschool ball

i Didnt agree with The Play calling early in the season neither but the Goldsboro Team That Just Played SG looked so different out there play calling has definitely improved. #12 Is not the only person you should be worried about for Goldsboro. #3 and #4 at WR for goldsboro will Ruin your Defense Ask south Granville about #3 lol
You might be giving SG to much credit. I think y'all are battle tested from being in the ECC.
SG would have finished about middle of the pack in the ecc.. Not gonna be much different then the first meeting. 30+
I Have To Disagree About the 30+. Goldsboro Offense is Waay To Legit i Believe Last time we played y'all our offense got stopped 2 or 3 times that whole game the problem was our Defense In I Gurantee we Will have that problem fix come Friday

Yes, as good as the RB is, I still say the reason South Granville lost the game was allowing #3 to catch the two deep balls....one on a stop and go double move where DB was fooled right before halftime to score, the other on a jump ball situation on 4th and 18 where the DB is right there, pretty much has him boxed out, but can't break it up, setting up another TD....#4 is the wrong one to kick to on a kickoff; at least according to one of the Goldsboro people that got really excited when he got an opportunity for a return
