CA intends to score a few it seems.

Pretty obvious that when we aren't pitching it well and we are making errors in the field, we are not a very formidible team. And what's the deal with us hitting so many batters this weekend? We hadn't had that problem earlier.

This team needs to practice fundamentals more than they read the hype surrounding them.

Need to study this Central Arkansas team, they make plays in the field, they don't give away outs with stupid baserunning and they are very patient at the plate. Much more fundamentally sound team than we are.

^^^This... they are killing us at our own game. Their approach at the plate is very simple... make us throw strikes. We aren't... we are all over the damn place. In the field, they make the plays... we don't. I don't know what the deal is, but when the pressure is on, we simply fold. Gonna struggle against SEC talent if we don't settle down.

I think we are finding out how playing a weak schedule with all home games can give some false sense of marked improvement. UCA also played a weak schedule to start 12-1, so we shouldn't take away from this that UCA is ALL THAT. In fact, look back at the St Joseph series and see our struggles at the plate. We have some weaknesses that are getting exposed by a good but not great team in UCA.

If it is not the lazy fly ball, it is worse, a ground ball double play after a single to start the inning. Losing 2 of 3 to UCA will not be a resume builder. Looks like the Samfords and the UCA's of the world are catching up with the Big Boys in D-1 Baseball.
