Come on guys, be PATIENT and HAVE FAITH!!! That's something I've seen little of in Bulldog fans lately. GB is working hard and DOING HIS JOB. This is a tougher time of the year to be going after some other teams coach due to bowl games and championships. NO ONE on this board KNOWS what's really going on. We may still be searching for a coach or we may already HAVE a new coach but we just can't announce it yet due to terms in the contract. It's gonna happen though.
I know I'm greedy and want a coach here NOW but I also understand a coaches point of view. If they've worked hard to get a team to a bowl or championship then they don't want to just drop and go on a moments notice. Plus, they don't want to deflate their fans excitement over the bowl or championship. Let's put ourselves in their shoes,(which we may have to do one day with this new hire). Coach X: "Hey guys, I've just gotten us to the National Championship game. Be proud! You've earned it! On another note, I won't be coaching you for that game cause I'm taking another job." Man that would suck.
I know, I know, we don't give a *&%$ about the other schools fans but that karma will come back to bite us in the *** one day if that's how we act.
I know everyone is anxious and worried about loosing recruits but don't worry about that. You don't think that GB is on top of that? Do you think GB took the test to get certified to contact recruits for ***** and giggles? The ones in power that we trust are on top of this. They are doing their job and getting it done.
The cafeteria in the Athletic Academic Center is cleared and ready for a press conference. It's going to get used soon and we're all going to be happy with what comes out of it.
