Good luck to both teams pray everyone stays injury free so who ever represents for the state has their full squad! This should be a awesome game and environment!
Amen coach lets pray all the boys stay injury free, they all have worked hard and deserve all the respect we can give to each and everyone of them. And by the way i'll be seated next to the bandill hae a salt and peper shaker for those ones eating a big pot of crow!
I'm going to predict that Appomattox will eventually lose again. Maybe not today...maybe not tomorrow...but it will eventually happen.

38-7??? Sheesh!! Listening to the Goochland cast is pretty mind numbing. Goochland wanted the fight, just like I said, Appo was waiting in the ring.....
It all goes in cycles though, Appo won't always have this type of speed. But for the time being, no other team can match them.
I was being sarcastic....this game is far from competitive. Everyone wanted to believe it would be...they were thinking with their hearts and not their brains.

Hated to see the score like it was, but I think it confirms what Giles and Union people thought...our teams aren't that bad, Appomattox is just that good.

There were some things that we need to improve. This was the worst passing games I have seen in a long time. Our WRs was not helping our QB at all. 8 drops if i remember and 2 were TDs. Our kicking was bad as well and our kicking (kickoffs and punts were great) is something I have been praising all year. We cant leave them scores off the board vs Richlands! I can see certain areas where Tre Walker is missed. Maybe we just had an off day in them areas.

Appo is a great team. Goochland shot themselves in the foot many times and going into the playoffs I knew the passing game would be what killed Goochland. Our QB simply can't hit his WRs the pick six in the first quarter was about 10-15 yards from the only receiver in range and straight to the safety most other passes were just all over the place with plenty of time to throw. The onside kick that Goochland recovered that got overturned, the two fumbles on the first or second play on consecutive series inside appos 20 yard line in the second half and the appo fumble that ended in a penalty on Goochland that brought them to the 3 yard line took the wind out of Goochlands sail. Goochland only allowed 1 touchdown on defense in the first half and that was with great field position. Offensivly Goochland couldn't get much going because they are so predictable and don't have a QB. Defensively I think Goochland showed up until they realized the game was over. Hats off to Appomattox they are tough but hope Richlands has the opportunity to humble them next week.
I think appo is humble gooch! There coach makes sure of that !!

I just want to say, I called it, NO RUSHING TEAM will beat Appo this year or last year. I told them our D will close the gaps quick and the LBs and Safety will meet you at LOS or in the back field and that is if the DL dont get to your first.
I still wished we had played Staunton River this year. Would have loved to see what Appo D could do with that O.

I said I hope richlands humbles appo as in they think they are unbeatable. They are good don't get me wrong but I saw players mouthing off a lot during game and posters on here doing the same. Appo hasn't been relevant til the last couple years, gonna be hard for y'all to handle when you go back to average.
So IF Appo wins a title this year, that will be two for the school, which is just as many Goochland. So it looks like they are just as relevant.....correct?
Nah Goochland has been a contender since 2004, can't say the same for appomattox. Enjoy your time while it last.
