I hope JWS has prepared Coach Mullen for all the **** that is about to be thrown at him from the Mississippi faithful. He's beating their *** in all aspects right now and they will come after him with a vengeance. I know they have started to some degree, but they are only getting warmed up.

spilled the beans on what Freeze was telling recruits. Someone posted several names of rebel boosters who were involved in taking Jackie down. There were lawyers, xenareb, etc. etc. But the thing that caught my attention is that one of the people involved had been retired military and his job was in the field of propaganda.

Big JWS fan, but I'll add to this discussion that while sanctions and what not might never have been put in his name, he did cheat. You're blind if you don't believe he didn't. Any more than anyone else? I don't know. I 'm not a booster. But I believe he got fired from aTm for their own personal findings of lack of institutional control.

It's kind of like Al Capone being on a watch list for bootlegging and murdering and the FBI never being able to put it on him. He was on the "watch list"... I believe that's what 'therightway' was saying.

at least not in the recruiting game. Whereas under Kramer SEC programs were throwing each other under the NCAA bus right and left WRT recruiting violations, under Slive that is NOT allowed. And besides that, in the current environment, it doesn't appear the NCAA is all that concerned about enticements used to recruit players anyway. They seem to be interested in extra benefits once a player gets to a school but it seems you can do whatever you want to in order to get a player to sign with you. Ole Miss would have had a LOT more trouble bringing Jackie down in the current environment than they did 10 years ago.

People can speculate all that want that all coaches cheat, including Jackie. The FACTS are, though that Jackie was never ONCE cited or penalized by the NCAA. At any school.
