They brought their closer in the 9th and he gives up 2 long ones. We have multiple options in the pen with Bracewell, Graveman, Watson, Houston, etc. If our starting pitching can give us 5-6 innings, we can Johnny whole staff it till the end, as long as we can swing the bat. Our bullpen will only continue to develop as they get accustomed to D1 baseball. We will take some lumps this year due to youth and lack of talent in certain areas, but we will be fun to watch and will be a .500+ club.
Edited to add: We are winning despite playing sloppy defense and not being able to capitalize in situations with runners in scoring position. We have scored (I believe) 36 runs this year in 4 games/ averaging 9 per game. That's pretty good and we haven't been playing Tougaloo and Tuskegee. Clean the defense up and continue to develop the young arms and we'll be decent. We were near a .500 team last year with quite possibly the worst pitching situation in BCS conference college baseball.
