and before going into the locker room all of the players and coaches came over to Baily and had a group picture made with him. He looked really pleased with the gesture.

It's just hard to believe all of the changes that have been made in the Athletic Department in the past year. I think this Byrne fellow may be onto something</p>

Lonnie grew up next door to Scott Field, and must've watch Howell play at McCarthy Gym. Why didn't he retire his number during his tenure? Was it something personal?</p>

LT thought that when you "retired" a jersey, it meant that he had to go out and buy another one. Those things are expensive.

Well, for whatever reasoning that LT didn't let something like this afternoon happen, it gets under my skin a little bit that he has a building named after him.
