One glaring concern for me is with Quarterback. Relf seems like he's high or something but he may be good enough to meet most of our predictions this year. State is right on track for how I figured we would be at this point.

No, I didn't claim a moral victory. I like what I saw out of our defense. The offense looked bad tonight but I attribute that to the strength of LSU's defense. They are a LOT better team than State is and the final score was much closer than virtually everyone on this board thought it would be.

I'm holding to my prediction of 7-5 with USC being the upset.

we played a LOT better than last week. You idiots can't give anyone any credit. That was a VERY good football team we played tonight and we went toe to toe with them. After last week I expected to get skulldrug tonight. Losing sucks but be realistic for a change. There was improvement, a lot of it. And to the people blasting Mullen, we stayed in that game due to COACHING. If it wasall down toto talent, we get killed. Our talent is slowly improving, but we ain't close to LSU's level. You don't get there in a short time either. Not in the SEC. Look at how long it has taken Spurrier at USC. USC had enough sense to stay the course, for once.

Hey, I wanted to win. I was pissed when we didn't get some calls and when we didn't make plays, but damn it was clearly obvious that they were a much better team.
